Understanding your vehicle's Transmission settings and the importance of its maintenance

The design of the clutch and transmission requires inspection and adjustment of the clutch and shift forks by a GT-R certified Nissan dealer at the recommended intervals. If the transmission setting is not completed, excessive loads may be applied to the power train system parts during starting and shifting, which may result in a malfunction or damage. Depending on the driving conditions, more frequent adjustments may be necessary to help maximize vehicle performance.
