Understanding your vehicle's Dual clutch transmission oil and the importance of its maintenance

A dual clutch transmission uses two separate internal clutches for odd and even gears. Its transmission oil lubricates the gearing components within the transmission, enables gear changes through hydraulic pressure, and dissipates heat. Over time, heat and contaminants can affect the transmission oil's ability to perform its functions properly. It is recommended to inspect the transmission for any leaks, check the oil level regularly and change the oil at the specified intervals.
