eCVT transmission fluid enables your continuously variable transmission's ratio changes through hydraulic pressure and protects internal components against wear while still allowing sufficient friction between belt and pulleys to transfer your engine's torque to the wheels. Over time, heat and contaminants can cause eCVT transmission fluid to lose the necessary properties.
