Understanding your vehicle's Water pump and the importance of its maintenance

The water pump circulates engine coolant within your cooling system. The coolant absorbs heat from your engine and other components and then cools off in the radiator. Water pumps can become weak or damaged over time reducing the flow of coolant from one component to another. Inspect and replace the water pump at the required intervals in order to prevent your vehicle from overheating.
